2nd grade students at imagine u

On February 7th, the Kings River second graders participated in an amazing hands-on learning experience at the Imagine U Children’s museum in Visalia.

According to Imagine U, “each exhibit is carefully created to provide children with a unique learning experience. From a mock grocery store to a construction zone and a science lab, students can role-play, experiment, and explore different concepts in a safe and interactive environment”.

Teachers observed students engaged in cooperative play, collaboration, and problem solving as they moved through ten different exhibits.

Overall, this field trip allowed students to use their imagination through an interactive experience that reinforced the standards taught in second grade.
